When I went to Harajuku for some shopping in Japan, I couldn’t help but notice the huge 4-storey Daiso store. A little background information, Daiso is a nationwide 100 yen shop chain that grew in popularity as a result of economic downturn in recent years. It even has a store in North America. It’s the equivalent of a dollar store that sells everything from paint brushes to baking pans. In my opinion, it’s the best place to do some souvenir shopping as many items are unique and Made in Japan quality. This time around, I racked in some Japanese snacks to bring home.
Occasionally, I would travel to the Korean supermarket in Toronto to do some groceries. They have a nice selection of seafood, sushi, meat products, bakery, and other interesting Korean snacks. During my last trip there I picked up some bottled coffee drinks similar to the ones you can find from Starbucks. But what caught my attention on these drinks was the Drip Coffee label.
