As its website claims, Asian Legend first opened its doors in Toronto’s Chinatown back in 1988. What a milestone. Many restaurants in Toronto open and then close shortly after, so having been opened for more than 20 years is a true accomplishment. What made it work? Probably a combination of good food, reasonable prices, quality control, unique flavors, and the ability to adapt to change that comes with customer tastes. I should also mention pleasant customer service, something entirely foreign to many Chinese restaurants. Here’s a recap of my recent dinner at Asian Legend.
Occasionally, I would travel to the Korean supermarket in Toronto to do some groceries. They have a nice selection of seafood, sushi, meat products, bakery, and other interesting Korean snacks. During my last trip there I picked up some bottled coffee drinks similar to the ones you can find from Starbucks. But what caught my attention on these drinks was the Drip Coffee label.
