About
The Food Pursuit
Based in Toronto, Canada and dedicated to providing a comprehensive list of the best local eats from all corners of the world, our mission is to hunt down food from restaurants, supermarkets, streets, and festivals. Say goodbye to disappointment and unwelcomed surprises at the restaurant. No more spending money on inferior products at the supermarket. We’re committed to trying all the good and bad before telling our readers exactly what to expect. In instances where our food pursuit leads us abroad, we will provide travel tips and information from first-hand experience. So be hungry, be ready to explore, and enjoy your stay.
About The Author
Her name is Melissa. An ambitious, imaginative 20-something city dweller fascinated by all things awesome – music, movies, sports, food, fine dining, technology, the Internet, photography, traveling, living, society, health…to name a few. Despite her many interests, Melissa is particularly fond of basketball. Today, she pursues a career in social business that requires a similar energy, game plan, and teamwork as on the court.
Melissa is the founder of The Food Pursuit and is the main editor of this website. She has traveled to Asia and within North America but plans to swing by other continents as time permits. Her recent adventure abroad was moving to Japan and following the amazing journey has since returned. Melissa is proud to say that while she fancies a night out in the city, a side of her would rather spend the evening watching an episode of Iron Chef on the Food Network. When she’s not writing (or eating and traveling), Melissa enjoys cooking, rock concerts, conversation over coffee, and a good laugh.
